Sammy's Hope Foundation, Inc. was formed in honor of one brave dog named Sammy who was rescued from an abusive home at eight-weeks old and went on to touch the lives of those around him.  He is a vet favorite, and continues to teach his people about life, love, forgiveness and compassion.  While he was lucky enough to find himself in a home that could fund his four knee surgeries to ensure his continued good quality of life; however, it's a reality that not all pets find themselves in.  Unfortunately, many pets are relinquished to shelters and rescue groups due to medical and behavioral issues.  

As long as pet-owners are willing and ready to put in the time and work to rehabilitate their pets, Sammy's Hope Foundation, Inc. wants to work to ensure that finding the funds is one less worry to help keep families together- because pets ARE family.
